For the first time, Houston will hold a Promise Walk to help raise awareness, find a cause and find a cure for preeclampsia.  Preeclampsia is a life-threatening disorder that happens in 1 and 12 pregnancies; affecting both mother and child.  At this time there is no known cause or cure for preeclampsia but through research over the last 10 years researchers have gained a better understanding of the disorder.

On May12th, come out to join the walkers of Houston and the thousands of walkers across the country raise funds and awareness for this worthy cause.  Make sure and pick up some delicious baked goods at the bake sale and check out the items at the silent auction while you are at the Houston Promise Walk for Preeclampsia.
